Canadian Specialist Hospital (CSH), one of the largest private hospitals in Dubai catering to the tertiary health care needs of the Middle East, has commenced operations in a new Obesity Clinic at the hospital's Oud Metha branch. The much-needed clinic is the first of its kind in the UAE where obesity is becoming worryingly prevalent, and it addresses the condition through counseling and surgery. The clinic was established by Dr Ali Reza Eghtedari, Consultant Surgeon and one of the pioneer in Laparoscopic Surgery in the UAE under the guidance of Dr. Karl Miller, President of the International Society of Obesity Surgery.
The green coffee bean extract first came in the spotlight several years ago when it was found to contain a lot of antioxidants which protect cells from aging, toxicity and the damage done by free radicals. In 2012, a small study found that it helps also weight loss efforts.
